As an owner, you have the freedom to cancel a booking at any time if poor weather occurs or if you feel a renter lacks sufficient boating experience. As an owner, by canceling the booking, the renter will receive a full refund.
To cancel a booking, click View Conversation from the Dashboard. From there, press the "Cancel Booking" button located at the top of the message thread (pictured below)
Owner cancellations require additional customer support, as well as funds for securing last-minute accommodations. As a result, the following penalties will be applied:
- The listing may be lowered in our search results
- For frequent cancellations, Boatbound may temporarily suspend or remove the listing
