Why was I rejected?

Accounts are rejected when the Boatbound team is unable to confirm a person's identity and/or payment method.  If a user has been rejected, they are unable to login into their account, send messages, or book a boat. 

In order to become verified, users are required to meet certain criteria.  Boatbound runs a number of different verification protocols in order to better protect owners and renters.  If an account has been rejected, Boatbound was unable to verify not only their name, phone number, email, birthdate, and SSN but also the user's credit card and ID.

If the user had a booking scheduled, it has been canceled and they should expect to see a refund within 3-5 business days.  All other booking requests have been canceled.
