Why was I rejected?

Accounts are rejected when the Boatsetter team is unable to confirm a person's identity and/or payment method.  If a user has been rejected, they are unable to login to their account, send messages, or book a boat. 

In order to become verified, users are required to meet certain criteria.  Boatsetter runs a number of different verification protocols in order to better protect owners and renters.  If an account has been rejected, Boatsetter was unable to verify not only their name, phone number, email, birthdate, and SSN but also the user's credit card and ID.

If the user had a booking scheduled, it will been canceled and they should expect to see a refund within 3-5 business days.  All other booking requests have been canceled.
