Why do I need to complete the Verification Process?

In an effort to better protect both renters and owners on our site, Boatbound requires a verification process to be completed for all transactions over $1,000. In order for a booking to become verified, we require that the renter sends a color copy of their ID and credit card used to book. The credit card number should only show the last four digits, but the same name on both the ID and the card must be visible. We then use this information to verify that the details match what is on file. 

This information should be sent to support@boatbound.co. If we are unable to complete the verification process by 5 pm PST the day before the rental, the booking will be canceled.
